Position Overview:

As our Shipping Specialist, your primary focus will be processing a high volume of orders daily. You'll use our industry-specific ERP platform to initiate shipments and complete them within predetermined carriers such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or USPS software. Experience with these systems is a significant plus. Additionally, you'll handle international shipments and ensure compliance with shipping regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process a large volume of daily orders using our ERP platform and shipping software.
• Manage shipping logistics, including packaging and tracking, within specified carriers.
• Handle international shipments and ensure compliance with shipping regulations.
• Collaborate with the production team to prioritize orders and meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
• Communicate with customers regarding order status and shipping information.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Assist in warehouse activities, including lifting boxes weighing up to 35lbs and working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using ERP platforms and shipping software, with experience in UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience with international shipments and knowledge of shipping regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting boxes weighing up to 35lbs.
